Ram Charan donated 10 lakh for flood victims

Posted by Rajesh Sunday, October 4, 2009 0 comments

Ram Charan Teja, the young hero, who is better known as Magadheera now has donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh for flood victims in Kurnool. It was just 24 hours that YS Jagan made an announcement of Rs 20 lakh for the same cause. The young leader has thus inspired Ram Charan now. The time seems to be encouraging all youngsters to come forward for this noble cause. It was Ram Charan’s fans and Jagan’s supporters those are coming forward to extend helping hand for all flood victims in the way that is possible for them.

Well, on the other hand old man Rosiah, the CM, is also struggling in his own way to impress people and party workers by doing night-out in his office to follow up the rescue operations in flood affected areas.

Real Hero

It is not known whether Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi has made any announcement donating any money to the Chief Minsiter’s relief fund towards the flood relief, but his son Ramcharan Teja proved himself to be a real “Magadheera.”

Charan donated Rs 10 lakh to the CM Relief Fund on Saturday as a small gesture to provide relief to the victims of a dreaded deluge. Not only that, he made an appeal to all his fans to donate substantially to the flood relief and participate in the relief operations. Film heroes Balakrishna and Venkatesh did not take out a penny from their pockets, but appealed to their fans associations to participate in the flood relief activities. That’s the spirit!

Recently released movie 'Boni' has Kirthi Karbanda as heroine is now all set to play as second heroine for Ram Charan in the upcoming movie directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar which has been titled as 'Orange'. Genelia is the main heroine and the film is to be made on Anjana production banner of Nagababu. The first schedule of the film will take place in Australia and the shoot will be launched in Hyderabad before 20th of this month. Harris Jayaraj is the music director. Thota Prasad is penning the dialogues. Anand Sai is the art director.

Ram Charan says “I was confident about living up to the expectations. Everything including my horse-riding skills worked wonderfully for the film. But I can’t take the entire credit for the film’s success. Without our director (Rajamouli) and the 200-odd cast/crew this film would never had clicked.” He’s glad that his film has “proved the potential of a Telugu film. We are remaking the film in Tamil and the film marks my debut in Kollywood. We are re-shooting the first half with a Tamil comedian,” he says. Will he do the Hindi remake as well? “I am not doing it but our film evoked great interest in Bollywood. A host of productions houses including Rakesh Roshan watched our film but nothing is yet finalised,” he says. Now, the 26- year-old will turn producer to promote “meaningful’ cinema. I’ll work on novel themes. I heard a couple of refreshing plots and liked them a lot. But I don’t think I will fit into those roles, so I have decided to make these films with other actors.” However, the workaholic is savouring a much-deserved break and ‘relishing’ every moment of it. “My film with Genelia will start from October 10”. Ram Charan is not much of a foodie but enjoys “vegetarian food for five days a week,” and prefers “continental non-veg cuisine on the other two”. Considered one of the trendiest actors in T-town, Ram Charan insists that, “No one can be Mr Perfect. What one wears depends on body language, skin tone, attitude and so on. I pick up clothes from high-end branded stores in London, New York or even roadside malls in Bangkok.” Before parting company, we hear he’s just been gifted a new swanky SUV. “Yeah, right. I am waiting to get my hands on it,” Ram Charan grins.

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is a happy man now-a-days despite poll debacle in the elections. The reason behind this is his son, Ram Charan joining the top league with Magnum Opus Magadheera. Magadheera washed out all the records of previous films and emerged as the top grosser in India only next to Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini. Overwhelmed Chiranjeevi has decided to celebrate this rare occasion with Ram Charan. Swanky car was ordered by Chiru to give as a special gift to his son. Ram Charan was delighted knowing this and is eagerly waiting to lay his hands on it.

Magadheera in Tamil as Maaveeran!

Posted by Rajesh Thursday, October 1, 2009 0 comments

Ram Charan Teja’s recent released film ‘Magadheera’ is a block buster hit in Tollywood and had given much collection in the box office. Now, he had decided to make his entry into Kollywood with his same film ‘Magadheera’ in the name of ‘Maaveeran’ with some minor changes in the script.

Recently, the Telugu film Arundhathi was released in Tamil and it became a big hit. This gave the boost to the producer Allu Aravind and he is planning to partly remake ‘Magadheera’ and release it in Tamil.

There would be some changes in the Tamil version. They are separate comedy track by Vadivelu and the role of SherKhan will be played by either Sarath Kumar or Arjun.
